However, the €19,060,800 jackpot remains unclaimed.

It has been rolling over since June and a single winner of the draw would become the largest prize winner ever.

As the jackpot is now capped, this means that no additional money will be added to the jackpot prize until it is won.

There was also no winner of the Lotto Plus One and Two top prizes.

The main winning numbers drawn were: 12, 17, 18, 21, 33, 37 and the bonus was 23.

For the Lotto Plus One draw, the numbers were: 01, 22, 24, 26, 30, 47 and the bonus was 07.

And for the Lotto Plus Two draw, the numbers were: 12, 13, 14, 20, 31, 44 and the bonus was 43.

The Lotto Plus Raffle number was 2520 and there were 237 winners of €500.

Earlier, the National Lottery was hit with 'technical difficulties' before the draw.

The highly-anticipated draw for the record prize seemed to have sent the Irish public into a Lotto fever, as the website and app were struggling to cope with demand for tickets.

The National Lottery had tweeted: 'Due to high traffic volumes, we are experiencing some technical difficulties with our website and app.
